I've been making jewelry since I was 15. I took a class at a craft store - in those days there wasn't a Michaels or AC Moore. After the first class I came home and told my folks that I wanted to make jewelry for a living. My dad immediately, and for years tried to get me to consider being a dentist, or a dental lab technician. We finally settled on me going to UNH as I am from NH. I ended up meeting a artist who did art shows for a living in which she helped me get started with that and the rest is history.

Over the years I have done shows and sold to galleries to support myself and my family. 3 years ago I moved from NH to PA, outside of Philly. I am now also doing shows in the winter in Florida. My Jewelry is all hand fabricated by me. I use a variety of traditional jewelry making techniques. I work in gold and silver and almost always incorporate semi precious colored stones. One of my favorite stones is the boulder opal from Australia. It is found in so many colors. I often make a collage design- using a few different stones. I also am always looking for stones I have never used or seen to add to my designs. Most of my designs are modern and contemporary.

I will be exhibiting at the New England Holiday Show in Nov{hopefully}. If your interested, you can look at more designs on my website or sign up for my Facebook, or Instagram page.

Sailboat Earrings

Made with Indonesian opal and pink druzy set in 22kt and 14kt yellow gold. I take a variety of different shapes and size gold wire and form it. For instance, I usually use square wire and put the line texture on it using a chasing tool. Once all the pieces are in the shape I want, I lay it all out and solder it together. Then polish and set the stones. Voila!
