I found a way to merge my love of words (I was a journalism major at Douglass) with my love of pottery, and developed a line of wheel thrown bowls, vases, and vessels with hand-lettered inspirational messages. This led to a body of work that embraces my philosophy of life. I use my own words, as well as those of my friends, historical figures, literary and other public figures, and that great prolific author – anonymous. I also enjoy doing, and even encourage, custom work to create the perfect piece for your special person or occasion. Together we can create functional heirlooms to be used today and cherished forever.

My pieces are part of the White House Ornament Collection and the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library and Museum and numerous collections around the world.
