As an avid gardener and interested in all things green and growing, I began imprinting actual leaves onto my functional pottery in 2007, thus allowing me to "feed both beasts". From my gardens and studio in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, I produce functional tableware which is unique in that everything is slab rolled rather than wheel thrown resulting in a more rustic style. These plates, bowls, vases, etc. are truly "Garden to Table". I have been weaving baskets since 1978 but began experimenting with a mixed medium style about 30 years ago. All of the baskets now start with an undulating pottery bowl upon which I weave reed, twisted seagrass, leather, copper, beads, and so on. No two pieces are ever the same and the shapes can get a little crazy.
