It all began with a Greyhound Christmas stocking, sewn and sold on Etsy, back in 2014. My Etsy customers began requesting additional breeds and the idea for Hearth Hounds, holiday stockings for your best friend, was born! Our dog Christmas stockings actually look like the most popular dog breeds, and our hounds were officially released to the public in 2017. Hearth Hounds stockings also serve as wonderful keepsakes, tree toppers and wine bottle covers! We accept a limited number of custom orders from March through May, in case we don't already have your breed.

Signature Dog Stockings
Hearth Hounds signature dog Christmas stockings are created to look just like your pup! Made with beautiful faux furs, realistic eye and nose details and embellished with lovely ribbon collars with matching bows and jingle bell. I begin my process by studying photos of a specific breed and then I create a left profile pattern. Next, I sew the prototype, some several times, until I feel it is perfect! All stockings are lined with a medium weight interfacing to give the stocking stability.
