Three decades ago, I had a brilliant idea. I figured it would be cheaper to make my own jewelry rather than trying to buy it on my paltry teacher's salary. Thousands of dollars later, I realized just how foolish that idea was.

Now, I've decided that playing with metal, stones, and random antique bits and pieces is way more fun than teaching.

Patina Magic

Using recycled copper, I created this stunning pendant. The gorgeous patina is a natural chemical reaction between copper and various chemicals - it won't fade in time.
