Elissa Carr of Willow Ridge Candles

I have been making soy candles for 8 years now. It started after I had my son and I dove into fundraising for animal rescues. Eventually, stores wanted to pick my candles up and it steamrolled from there. Now I’m in several stores, expanded my candle lines, and attend several vendor events as well as farmers markets.

We are located in Carver, Ma.

Hand poured soy candle. The wax comes in flakes, which had to be heated up and once it’s heated and to the proper temperature oils must be added to it so it can bind to the wax. It’s then poured into a prepared jar where it sets and cools. Once it’s done setting it’s labeled, wrapped with twine and ready to go!
