I pursue the technique of handbag design and I am continuously learning the art of wearable fiber. After graduating with a B.A. from Ohio State University, the art show world opened its doors to me. I have been a full time working artist for 16 years, my home/studio is in Bellefontaine, OH.
Goldyfish Handbags, making one fiber handbag at a time: keeping it simple. I choose bright fabrics, clean functional design & durability for daily use. Each handbag is created from the finest suede, upholstery, silk, vintage fabric, feather & fringe from around the world. Additionally, I design my own custom fabric which allows the creative process to be ever more unique. After the design layout and patterns are drafted, pieces are hand cut, then layered with interfacing for structure. Every piece is constructed with detailed craftsmanship. When it comes to beauty, quality is everything. One-of-a-kind bags made with LOVE.
